I believe I was in a Twitter chat a couple of months ago where we discussed the use of iPads and apps in education. Of course the conversation headed towards app smashing; the workflow of merging different apps to use their products in a combined project. One app does not fit all tasks. After talking with a couple of educators, Sunny Richardson & Joe McCright, we came up with the idea of facilitating a 5 week challenge for educators to participate in some app smashing activities. Below is the challenge we created. We wanted to try and make it as easy as possible for educators to submit their smashes. We have embedded ThingLinks where we will post every submission. At the end of the challenge, successful completers will receive a badge to showcase their learning. Want to smash some apps?
